1. How does Going Places work?
With Going Places you earn a point whenever a registered user logs in to
the website and logs their pledge. Points accumulated by logging
pledges make you eligible for rewards which are set out on the
‘Rewards on offer’ page of the Going Places site.
There are also random prizes available to all users who earn at least
one point in the random prize period (ie a particular week, month or
other similar time period). Whilst Going Places makes every attempt to
contact random draw winners, if a winner cannot be contacted the competition
prize will be redrawn.
2. How do you earn points?
Points are earned by fulfilling and logging the following
pledge on the Going Places website: “I pledge to take two-less
drive alone trips this week”. Points are earned on the basis of
1 point for each pledge logged. No more than one pledge can be
logged per week. A maximum of 52 points per year can be achieved.
3. How long do you have to use your points?
Your points will expire at the end of the Going Places trial period.
This will be in approximately March 2007. We will give you at least
90 days notice before the end of the Going Places trial period.
We may discontinue Going Places at any time at our discretion. Should
we discontinue Going Places, we will notify you and advise you of the
date up until which you may continue to log your pledge. After Going Places
is discontinued, you will no longer be able to earn points.
4. What are the rewards?
The rewards available at any time are set out on the Going Places
website which you can access through www.goingplaces.darebin.vic.gov.au
or you can contact Going Places Headquarters on (03) 8470 8341.
All rewards are subject to availability and substitutions may be
necessary. All rewards are subject to the specific conditions on
which the provider of the reward makes the reward available.
If there is any inconsistency between the rewards and these
terms and conditions, the specific conditions prevail.
5. How do you claim a reward?
The Going Places system will notify Going Places
administration that you have accrued enough points to be
eligible for one of the rewards on offer.
6. Where do you claim a reward?
Rewards you are eligible for will become available to collect
from Darebin City Council Customer Service Centres one week
after you become eligible for a particular reward. A week runs
from Monday to Sunday. For example, if you log your pledge for
the last point you require in order to earn a pedometer on a Monday,
then your pedometer will be available for collection from a
Darebin City Council Customer Service Centre from the beginning
of the next week (the Monday).
Please bring your GP Club card along in order to claim your reward.

value except in respect of the value assigned to them by Going Places.

are bound by any change when you first register for Going Places.
